Gameplay: Explore diverse regions with multiple levels, hidden areas, treasures, and bosses. Kirby can run, jump, climb, inhale enemies, and use or spit them out as projectiles.

Abilities: Classic Copy Abilities return with new ones added. Abilities can be evolved into stronger versions for more powerful attacks.

Co-op Mode: Local multiplayer allows a friend to join as Bandana Waddle Dee with his spear.

Waddle Dee Town: Hub area that grows as you save Waddle Dees. Features shops, subgames, collectibles, online rankings, and bonus items via Present Codes.
